Adam Duerson from

article previewing the Cowboys-Eagles game this Sunday night. His first few paragraphs talk about Romo's record in big games, which he defines as games against teams that finished the season with an above-.500 record. Whether that definition of a "big game" is accurate is up for debate, but so is about any other way someone tries to define a big game. But what the numbers show is that Romo has been a bottom-feeder so far, padding his stats against sub-par teams while playing much less effectively against good teams.
Romo is still early in his career and has plenty of time to shed that reputation. A good game and a win on Sunday won't do it; just like all other great players, you can only enhance your career and your reputation so much by what you do in the regular season. It always comes down to performance in the playoffs. Hopefully for Romo, this is his year.
